How to cancel a subscription through Roku

Roku-billed subscriptions often have to be canceled through Roku itself, even if you mostly watch in the provider app.

Cancel on Roku

  1. 1.Sign in to your Roku account online or open subscription settings on your Roku device.
  2. 2.Find the active subscription list.
  3. 3.Choose the service you want to stop.
  4. 4.Select Turn off auto-renew or Cancel subscription.
  5. 5.Review the last day of access.
  6. 6.Save the confirmation screen or email.

If the service does not appear

The provider may bill you directly instead of through Roku.
Check your email receipt to see whether Roku was the merchant of record.
Try the service website if Roku does not show an active subscription.

What to check before the next cycle

Confirm the provider app still matches the cancellation timing shown by Roku.
Make a note of any yearly renewal date if the plan is not monthly.
Download or save any billing confirmation while it is easy to find.

FAQ

Can I cancel in the streaming app instead?

If Roku is processing the billing, the safer route is usually Roku account management. The app itself may not control the renewal.

Will my access end immediately?

Usually not. Most plans stay active until the paid period ends, but check the date shown during cancellation.

Why do I still see the app after canceling?

The app can stay installed even after billing stops. Installation and subscription status are separate.

Rynlo does not cancel subscriptions for you. Roku menus and labels can change, so use the latest account or device prompts if they look different.
